The Belief Code

Do you struggle to make changes in patterns of behavior or ways of thinking unsuccessfully? Often the stories we tell ourselves, the patterns of behavior we live, or the way we perceive the world are based on faulty logic, often created at a very young age. The logic is so much a part of us, we don’t recognize it.

The Belief Code is part of the Discover Healing Emotion Code, Body Code system — and adds a third layer of dimension to energy healing work.  It’s a tool that operates in harmony with the Emotion Code and Body Code to assist in identifying negative belief systems — faulty logic resulting in negative programs, limiting beliefs, core faulty beliefs, and core faulty identities. These negative belief systems can show up as patterns of thinking and behaving that, in spite of your best efforts, leave you feeling like you’re stuck on a gerbil wheel when trying to make changes.

What are beliefs? Below are definitions from two different perspectives — one a Zen teacher, and the other the father of Cognitive Behavior Therapy

Our core beliefs need to be seen for what they are — deeply held assumptions about reality that our particular life circumstances have conditioned us to accept as absolute truth.

Ezra Bayda, Zen teacher

“A belief is a fundamental, absolute, and lasting comprehension that a person develops about him or herself, others, and the world. They are constructed from the effort to extract meaning from significant childhood or formative experiences.” Where do beliefs come from? Most beliefs come from: self conclusions; suggestions and ideas from others we trust, usually presented before age 8; or from our ancestors.”

Aaron Beck, father of Cognitive Behavior Therapy

Because the subconscious mind ensures our survival by following the associations or programs we have created, we must consciously recognize a faulty belief in order to change it. The subconscious mind is a database of association, that stores all of our connections and viewpoints. Many of these viewpoints may be distorted and can create or contribute to conflict and struggle in life.

The Belief Code system provides an effective way to assist in identifying the faulty beliefs and distortions, so they can be released.
